To the Junior undergraduates
In Yakoh Lab, new computer system, which deals with the
information in the real world, is being researched on.
It is a big challenge of integrating time and space,
which were unable to be dealt with in the conventional calculation theory,
by constructing a new calculation theory and corroborating it in experiments
by actually building the system.
Of course we're aiming for a meaningful research that gets attention from
all around the world.
An attitude of Yakoh Lab toward research is
to do the basic researches previously undone and
to show the actual applications,
under the goal of realizing varaiety of ideas with
Computer Network / Distributed Processing / Real-Time
as a keyword.
Since this is a new laboratory established in the year of '99,
students can choose a theme for the research, freely,
within the extensive field stated above.
However, depending on your motivation and attitude, any research in the
fields not stated above is also possible.
You are always welcomed to come visit our lab.
Students' room is at 26-406C (Main) and 34-109A (Sub),
and teacher's room is at 26-408A.
